METHODIST CHURCH.
At a meeting of the District Executive of the Methodist Church in North Canterbury last evening, a welcome was extended to the following' ministers who have recently arrived in the dist ric-t:—The Revs H. E. Bellhouse, F. Gardner Brown. L. A. Brooks and R. Thorn ley. Preliminary arrangements were made for the conference of the Methotfist Church of New Zealand, which will be held in Christ church in February next. Conveners of various committees were elected.
