Price to Be Hanged on Thursday. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON. This Dav. The execution of Charles William Puce for the murder of Mary Evelvn Madden will take place at Mount Crawford prison at 8 am. on Thursday. The warrant reached the sheriff (Mr Samson) 'yesterday, an din the afternoon he went to the prison and in- ■ ormed Price that the Executive Council had decided not to interfere with the sentence.
Price took the decision calmlv and made nc comment.
