Pictures for Schools.

THE DESIRABILITY of providing more artistic pictures for the school walls was emphasised by the headmaster of the Tokomaru Bay School. Mr A. E. Nodwell, at the monthly meeting of the school committee. lie stated that the pictures in the classrooms were not inspiring, and the environment was not artistic. Mr Nodwell mentioned that he was endeavouring to get the children to bring pictures to the school, and he himself was providing reproductions of various masterpieces.
