Chinese Cruisers to Effect Admiral’s Release. lIONG KONG, June 22 As a sequel to the report that Chinese rebel cruisers had been fired on yesterday, the northern cruiser Ninghai arrived in harbour here to-day. Her commander stated thkt he had ’met the ebels outside and had instructed them to return to Hong Kong, firing several ounds as a warning. The v Ninghai carries a British naval officer. Captain Morse, formerly of H.M.S. Repulse, attached to the Chinese Navy. The arrival of additional northern cruisers, the Haichow and the Hailing, to-day. lends support to reports that the Nanking Government intends to blockade Canton in order to effect he release of Admiral Klang Shi-Yuan, previously commanding the Car.ton Northern Squadron, to which the rebel ships belonged. A hundred cadets who were released from the rebel ships state that thev were virtually prisoners aboard. They J.re suffering from exhaustion and lack < f food. *
