WEDDING.

Piner—Scott. The marriage was celebrated on Tuesday, at the Russell’s Flat Methodist Church, by the Rev L. W. Long, of Edna Sybil, daughter of Mr and Mrs T. Scott, Russell’s Flat, and Edward, youngest son of the late Mr and Mrs C. Piner. of Annat. Mrs A. Smith -was organist. The bride, who was given awav by her father, wore an ivory georgette gown, made with long latticed cape sleeves. The bodice was finished with a diamante buckle at the waist-line. Her tulle veil was held with posies of orange blossom, and her bouquet was of white hothouse flowers, relieved with pale pink. The bridesmaid. Miss Joyce Smith, of Springbank. wore a bon-bon pink crepe dress with frilled sleeves, and a cowled bodice finished with a spray of velvet flowers. Her bandeau was of matching velvet flowers, and she carried a bouquet of shaded pink hothouse flowers. Colleen James, as flower-girl, wore a Victorian frock of frilled pink crepe. Her bandeau was of pink rosebuds, and she carried a posy of pink flower*?. Mr Raymond Atkinson was best man. A reception was afterwards held at the home of the bride’s parents, where Mrs Scott received her guests. For travelling, the bride wore a suit of brown flecked tweed, and a brown coat with a deep collar of fur. Her brown felt hat was trimmed with beige.
