BIBLE SOCIETY.

Annual Meeting of St Albans Branch. The annual meeting of the St Albans branch of the British and Foreign Bible Society was held at the home of the president, Mrs J. Penny, Papanui, yesterday. There was a good attendance. The secretary reported that the work of the past year had been well maintained and had resulted in the sum of £32 being collected. It was resolved that for the future all the churches In the district should set aside the month of March in which to seek interest and support for the world work of the society. A welcome was extended to the new organising secretary, Mr A. C. Marks. An address on ** How to Study the Bible ” was given by the Rev J. F. Feron.
