Western Australian Complaint. APPEAL TO PARLIAMENT. Investigation of Charges is Strongly Urged. United Press Assn.— By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. I (Received May 30, 11.55 am.) LONDON. May 29 The Western Australian secession dele- ! gation has issued a statement expressing disappointment at the Select ComI mittee’s report and fears that its ad- ' option will occasion some resentment !in Western Australia. The only in- | ference from it is that no matter what injury or injustice is inflicted, or what redress is attempted, no action can be taken by the Imperial Parliament. The delegation is prepared to demonstrate that Western Australia’s injuries are not the natural consequences of entry into the Federation, but were caused by Federal abuses of the constitution, the final consequences of which will be the impoverishment of many Western Australian industries, the destruction of prosperity and tho impediment of the State’s development. Western Australia’s plea was that the Commonwealth’s violation of the Act of 1900 destroyed her sovereign rights. “We strongly feel that the British Parliament should not adopt the report, but should at least receive our petition and investigate our serious indictments against the Commonwealth,” the delegation states, “ other wise any future action must be decided
