Writes Article for “Sunday Express.” LONDON. May 20. j The “Sunday Express” prominentlv displays a long article by Mi G. \Y. Forbes, Prime Minister of New Zealand, on its editorial page. The article deals with Empire trade, especially stressing New Zealand’s purchases from Great Britain. Addressing a distinguished gathering of 1000 guests at an Empire Day jubi- i lee banquet in the vast underground | hall ol Grosvenor House last evening. Mr Forbes, before extolling Great ! Britain’s heritage, said: “I am not attempting to sell butter or cheese to- I night, nor to give figures. I don’t want to say what we have done but ! to show appreciation of what vou have I done.” Sir Tames Parr (High Commissioner) j and Mr J. G. Coates (Minister of Finance) were present.
