PARTY AT PORT LEVY.

Miss Rita Peach is Guest of Honour. An enjoyable social evening, organised by the single residents of Port Levy, was held recently in the Guildford Hall in honour of Miss Rita Peach and Mr A. Priest on the occasion of their approaching marriage. During the evening Dr Maitland presented the guests of honour with appropriate gifts and wished them every happiness. Mr Priest responded. Competitions were won by Mrs Coop, Mr Priest and Mr Whisker, and novelty dances by Miss Richfield and Mr L. Gilbert (mystery onestep), Mrs Grant and Mr J. Whisker (Monte Carlo), Miss Grennell and Mr O. Williams (statue waltz) and Miss G. Williams and Mr W. Steele (lucky spot). Those present included: Mesdames Jennings, Coop, Reese, Wilson, Pope, Richfield, Grant and Davidson: Misses Rita, Peach, Ellen Richfield, Lena Page, Brenda Williams, Gwynfa Williams, Milly Ruru, Linda Grennell.
