BACHELORS’ BALL.
The annual ball of the Wakanul bachelors and spinsters was held in the Wakanul Hall on Thursday evening, when there was a very good attendance. Several novelty dances were, introduced. Miss E. Eden and Mr F. Schluter wining a Monte Carlo waltz and Miss K. Protheroe and Mr G. Begg, a lucky spot foxtrot. Music was supplied by Mia Mitchell’s orchestra. Miss: P. Holland playing an extra. A tap da!nce was also given by Mr S. Good. Mr H. Cavlll was M.C. Among those present were;— Mr and Mrs J. Moore, Mr and Mrs C. Frampton. Mr and Mrs B. Mcllraith.
