WOMAN KILLED
An elderly woman, whose name is at present unknown, was killed when she was knocked down by a car driven by Neil Burnett Young, aged 19, of 128, Papanui Road, at 1 p.m. to day. The accident happened in Papanui Road outside the St Albans Post Office. The woman was apparently about to cross Papanui Road from the footpath on the east side. Young was going towards town. The woman was carried some distance by the car.
