South Africa in their second innings lost two wickets for 280 and declared. Nourse completed his century in 125 minutes. He hit eleven fours. Siedle took 225 minutes to make his century. Surrey had a series of disasters. A mixture of rain, hail and snow, followed by sunshine, turned the oval wicket into a bowlers’ paradise. Surrey struggled hard for a draw, but the South Africans won with eight minutes to spare. Scores:— SOUTH AFRICA.
