Gatherings Held in Town and Country. GIFT EVENING. Many guests were entertained at the Selwyn Kindergarten at a gift evening ?i ve , n by Miss Lorna Reed for Miss Molly Bennett, whose marriage to Mr Hanley Bourner will take place shortly. Golden Wedding. Friends and relatives gathered at the home of .Mr and Mrs W. Heald, Cam Road, Kaiapoi, on Sunday last to congratulate them on the occasion of their golden wedding, which took place on Monday. Appiopriate speeches were made during the day, and a number of telegrams and letters were received. Amongst those present were: Mr and Mrs Arthur Heald, Mr and Mrs F. J. Heald, Mr and Mrs F.
