SYDENHAM W.C.T.U.

The monthly meeting of the Sydenham W.C.T.U. was held in the Baptist Sunday School, Colombo Street. Mrs J. K. Archer presided over a good attendance. A duet was given by Mrs Weatherhead and Mrs Filer. Mrs Weatherhead was presented with a bouquet of flowers and a leather bag in view of her departure for the North Island. Mrs T. E. Taylor addressed the meeting on the peace movement, and Mrs Weatherhead gave a vocal solo.
