Oysters Eighteen Pence a Thousand.
Special—By Air Mail. PARIS. March 10. Oysters are being sold at Is 6d a thousand at Royan. The spring tides laid bare rocks on both banks of the Gironde which are practically never uncovered—and hundreds of thousands of oysters were revealed. Millions were picked before the water rose again. Small shells were offered for sale at Is 6d per 1000. mediums at os, and big ones up to 10s 1000.
