Addington Aassociation’s Report.
The annual meeting of the Addington Burgesses’ Association was held last night, Air B. Sloane presiding.
The annual report stated that during the year, the association had made few requests, but all these had been granted. Among the improvements made were extra lighting in Jerrold Street Reserve, abolition of wooden bridges, attention to railway crossings, and the cleaning up of Dfyden Street. The work on Dryden Street was not finished, and it was hoped that the Railways Department woulrj, fulfil its promise and have the work done.
The balance-sheet showed a balance of assets over liabilities of £lO 5s l.\d. The social credit balance was £4 Os Id.
Officers were elected as follows: Patron, ATr G. Gyde; president, Air B. Sloane; vice-presidents, Alessrs C. C. Crutch, E. Parlane and L. Wilson; secretary, Air T. Falkinder; treasurer, Air E.
