Will Also Introduce Conscription. PREPARATIONS COMPLETE. United Press Assn. —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received March 19, 11.30 am.) VIENNA. March 18. It is authoritatively stated that Austiia will introduce conscription in the summer or autumn, claiming freedom from the military clauses of the Versailles Treaty, as the other Powers whose defences were restricted thereunder. Her preparations are complete and could be put into operation immediately, but Austria will only act after agreement with the other Powers interested.
