Report to H.S. Old Boys’

Association.

A considerable increase in the number of subscriptions received is recorded in the annual report of the High School Old Boys’ Association, which will be presented at the annual meeting on March 28. The net result of the fete held in the King Edward Barracks to raise funds for the building of a gymnasium at the school along with cash in hand and definite promises would be about £6OO and of that sum old boys’ subscriptions amounted to £146. In connection with the gymnasium fund, warm appreciation of the action of the Christ’s College in forwarding a donation of £5 5s was expressed. . The membership stood at 563. while forty new members had been elected during the year and nine resignations had been received. Other activities of the association are dealt with in detail in the report.
