AGAIN FLOODED.

Far North Areas Deluged by Rain. ROADS IMPASSABLE. Per Press Association. WHANGAREI. This Day. Torrential rain, amounting to over four inches and a half in several areas during the twenty-four hours ended at 9 o’clock this morning, caused heavy flooding in the far north for the fourth time within the last three months, though to a lesser extent than on the previous occasions. The severest effect was felt at Kaeo, which is completely isolated for the time being. A wide sweep of the Mangakahia district is under nine feet of water, and all other routes to the centres further north are impassable. South of Whangarei, conditions are also bad in places, with eight feet of water on the road' between Taipuha and Mareretu. The deluge was accompanied by a violent north-east gale.
