FAREWELL NIGHTS.

“ The Gaieties ” Season Ends on Saturday. Stanley M’Kay’s Gaieties Revue Company has become very popular during its eight weeks at St James Theatre and many playgoers will regret that the season will end on Saturday night. On that occasion an entirely new production, “ Topsy Turvy,” will be presented. Meanwhile the current programme, ‘‘Oriental Nights,” is being much enjoyed. It is more spectacular than some of the earlier productions, the Oriental settings giving special opportunities for colour. The comedians, Frank Perrin and Ike Delavale, have the audience in a merry mood whenever they appear, and the work of N£ll Fleming stamps her as a polished artiste. “ The Moonlight Madonna,” as sung by Rae Foster, assisted by the ballet, is one of the many charming musical items in this week’s offering. On Saturday a special production for the children, and adults, too, entitled “Uncle Frank and Uncle Ike’s Birthday Party,” will be given, when the chief prize for the children will be a girl’s or boy’s bicycle, which is on view at Jones’s cycle shop in Manchester Street. Every child will receive a bag of birthday cake. Reserves are at the D.I.C. and day sales are available at Knight’s Milk Bar and the theatre sweets shop.
