Oh Saturday, riders representative of Canterbury will take part in the events, and there will be two light-car races. Grasstrack racing is deservedly popudar, since it provides high-speed and keen competition. Entries are good and the talent available should record fast times. The first event is due to start at 2.15 P.m. ## Jack Hobson’s Success. The success of Jack Hobson at the Stadium at Monica Park this season has been one of the most talked of topics among motor-cyclists. Since he procured a modern cinder-track machine, his rise to the front rank has been very rapid. Now he has the opportunity to ride for the great Wembley organisation, a chance many young English riders would be proud to have. Local enthusiasts congratulate Hobson on this big opportunity, and all will wish him success in his venture overseas. Canterbury Club T.T. Races. The Canterbury Auto-cycle Club’s T.T. races, which are to take place on March 16, promise to provide excellent foil for the speed merchants. Five races are likely to be included, with attendant heats, and a full Saturday afternoon’s racing is assured. The races are to take place on the club's Halswell course.
