PLUNKET SOCIETY.
Meeting of Papanui SubBranch Held. The committee of the Papanui Subbranch of the Plunket Society met in the Papanui Memorial Hall last night. Mrs L. M. Wilson presided over an attendance of Mesdames R. H. Livingstone. W. R. Lascelles. J. Ferrier, R. J. Lyon. R. C. B. Ward, F. Armstrong, F' B. Wright, P. F. Mann, G. H. Holford. George Holder, Watson-Dawson. H. Wyatt, L. C. Sisson and Miss M Bain. Nurse Merton reported that for the month of February 236 adults and 218 t abies, 32 older children and five new cases visited the Papanui rooms. Final arrangements were made for the garden party on Thursday. Mrs 31. H. Godby has consented, to speak to the mothers about finance and the upkeep of the Papanui rooms. A Punch and Judy show will be a feature at the party, which is to be held in Mr R. E. McDougall’s grounds. Papanui Road. It was decided to hold a jumble sale in the Papanui Memorial Hall on Wednesday, March 20, to raise money for the nurse’s salary. The next committee meeting will be held on Friday, March 9.
