CITY ELECTIONS.

Preparations by Citizens’ Association. The policy which the Christchurch Citizens’ Association will submit to the electors for the city elections to be held on Wednesday, May 1. wifi probably be determined at a meeting of the general committee of the association to-morrow evening. The selection of candidates will also be discussed, but it is not expected that any public announcement of the association’s nominees will be made until a later meeting. The meeting to-morrow evening is being held for the purpose of reviewing the position and will be mainly in the nature of a preliminary discussion. The Labour candidates for the city elections were selected some weeks ago.
