Fines Imposed on Motor Drivers. E. J. Sisson, Charged with being in a state of intoxication while in charge of a motor-truck, was fined £lO and costs by Mr E. D. Mosley, S.M., at a sitting of the Magistrate’s Court at Kaiapoi to-day. On a charge of driving a motor-truck without holding a driver’s license he was fined 10s and costs. R. L. Karaitiana, charged with being intoxicated while in charge of a motorcar, was fined £3 and costs, in default 2f days’ imprisonment, and his license was suspended for three months. Miscellaneous Cases. Charged with driving at a dangerous speed, L. J. Hobson was fined £2 and costs. On similar charges L. Fisher and J. G. Duncan were each fined £1 and costs. For cutting a corner A. Fussell was fined 10s and costs. For riding a motor-cycle at night without a light C. Ilarland was fined 10s and costs. C. G. Valk, for riding a motor-cycle at night without a light, was fined 10s ) and costs. For cycling’ at night without lights R. Wyatt was fined 10s and costs, and E. 11. Moore and A. C. Vincent were each fined 5s and costs.
