The annual game between members of the Lyttelton Bowling Club and members of the Lyttelton Borough Council took place on Saturday afternoon. The Bowling Club had a fairly easy victory. Magistrate’s Court. At a sitting of the Lyttelton Magistrate’s Court held on Saturday morning, before Messrs F. E. Sutton and T. A. Mahar. J.P.’s, Henry Kimber, a greaser on the steamer Maimoa, was fined £5, in default one month’s imprisonment, for using obscene language. On a charge of drunkenness, he was convicted and discharged. Annual Picnics. The -annual picnic of the Sunday School of Holy Trinity Church, Avonside, held at Diamond Harbour on Saturday, attracted 150 people. Members of the Lyttelton Club and a large number of residents of the bays held their annual picnic at Allandale yes terday. A COURT CHARGE. In connection with a charge preferred against Edward Andrews Morgan in the Magistrate's Court on Friday, the information should have read that the Recused “ On January 24 at Kokatahi In incurring a debt or liability to the extent of £l2 14s 8d from one Edith j Webster, did obtain credit by fraud.’
