Motorists on mountain highways in British Columbia arc safe from forest fires now that the Canadian Government has supplied portable fire-fighting equipment lo forest rangers. Where water is not available, water tasks have been built alongside the road, and the forest ranger, in case of fire, comes up with his equipment and pumps the water from the tank on the hush fire.
