KENNELS BURNT.
Mr William Wellington, of 107, Simeon Street, lost three greyhound pups as a result of a fire this afternoon. Mr Wellington was boiling some food for his dogs, when a spark from the fire set a small shed and his kennels alight. Pigeons and pheasants in the shed escaped, but the pups were destroyed.
