HITLER DEFENDS ACTRESS
Pola Negri Declared to Be an Aryan. BERLIN, February 8. Rebutting press allegations against the ancestry of Pola Negri, the famous film star, Herr Hitler instigated an official statement announcing that she was not of Jewish descent, but a Pole and therefore, as an Aryan, she was competent to appear in Germany.
