Championship Play at Timaru. tourney continued. (Special to the "Star.”) TIMARU, February 15. At the South Canterbury Croquet Association’s tournament the final of the B grade championship singles was won by Mrs Nettleton, a member of the Redcliffs Club, Christchurch, who gave a good exhibition of croquet in the concluding match. The A grade handicap singles was won by Jas. Thompson, and Mrs Richards was successful in the b* grade. Results: A Grade. OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP. First Round—Jas. Thompson beat Mrs Stallard, 26-14.
