At Brisbane, New South Wales. In their first innings, made 233 runs (Fingleton 74, Chipperfleld 63, Marks 56). Gilbert took six for 64 and Oxenham two for 46. Queensland have lost three for 94 (Sides not out 33, Levy not out 27). At Adelaide, South Australia’s first innings realised 200 runs (Badcock 47, Lonergan 45, Waite 35, Lee 46). Fleet-wood-Smith took five for 60 and Sievers two for 39. Victoria had lost three for 61 at stumps.
