SURF CLUB COMPETITIONS.
The teams for the Benson Shield competition will be selected on the beach on Sunday afternoon by the committee of the New Zealand Surf Club. On Sunday morning the competition for the Watson Cup, a single-handed rescue club event, will be held. The competition for the Benson Shield, a junior event confined to members under seventeen years of age, will be held on Sunday week.
