The Rome correspondent of the “ News-Chronicle,” in a message from Addis Ababa, says an Abyssinian Government statement holds Italy responsible for the Adfub clash on February 9, and declares that a patrol of twenty-five Abyssinians, armed only with rifles, were suddenly attacked by Italian troops armed with machineguns, after an aerial reconnaisance.
