CATTLE KILLED.
Train Crashes Through Herd Near Nelson. Per Press Association. NELSON. This Day. When a Glenhope-Xelson train which was conveying troops from the Tapawera camp was nearing Nelson last evening a number of cows strayed on to the line. The train sped through the herd, killing two. One beast was thrown 12 feet in the air.
