TRIBUTE TO WORK.
The Late Archbishop Redwood. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, This Day. Solemn Pontifical Requiem Mass in commemoration of the late Archbishop Redwood was celebrated at the Church of St Mary of All Angels to-day. The church was crowded, Bishops and clergy being present from all parts of New Zealand. Archbishop O’Shea presided in the sanctuary and also in the sanctuary were Dr M. Sheehan, Co-adjutor Archbishop of Sydney, Bishops Brodie, Christchurch, and Liston, Auckland. The occasional sermon was delivered by Bishop Brodie, who paid a tribute to Archbishop Redwood’s work for the Church in New Zealand, especially in connection with Roman Catholic education. Bishop Whyte was the celebrant.
