Murderer Sought in West Australia. RECOVERY OF DIAMONDS. United Press Assn.- —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received February 13, 10.45 a.m.) PERTH, This Day. The Government has decided to offer a reward of £SOO for the arrest or conviction of the Whitfields murderer who last week was responsible for the death of a night watchman and the theft of a large quantity of diamonds and other jewels. A further joint reward of £SOO has been offered by the insurance company and Caris Brothers (the jewellers) for the recovery of the stolen diamonds.
