FABULOUS SALARY.
Grade Fields a Star at £3 a Minute. LONDON, February 4. Grade Fields, once a Lancashire factory girl, has contracted with Associated Talking Pictures to star in four films at the rate of £3 a minute, states the “ Daily Mail.” She will receive in salary £150,000 over two years—a higher income than Greta Garbo’s record. Her next film will be a Yorkshire comeciy by J. B. Priestley, who wrote “ Sin fd As We Go,” which was worth £28,000 to Gracie Fields in salary.
