KOHN RUGBY SHIELD.
Tramways Challenge the Wellington Club. The Christchurch Tramway Social Club has decided to issue a challenge to the Wellington Tramway Social Club for a match for the Kolin Rugby Shield. The match will probably be prayed in August. Mr r. Batty was elected selector and club captain and Mr J. Mathison was selected as manager. « The following sub-committees were appointed for the year:—House: Messrs F. Lanjon, J. Clive. R. Turner. A. KMansell, R. J. French and A. Grimwood. Billiards: Messrs A. K. Mansell. K. O'Burg and A. J. Archer Social; Messrs G. Cook. R. Israelson, 11. D. Smith and P. Ritchie. Football: F. Holmes. J. Math ison and J. Parkes. The social club is open to both members and employees of the board, and three of the present members are on the executive.
