Received February 12, 2.50 p.m.) LONDON, February 11. • Three thousand Salvationists farewelled General Evangleine Booth at Central Hall, Westminster, before her start for Australia, crying: “We want you here.” General Evangleine replied: “I am sorry to leave England, but I hold an international office.” She added that during her three months in Britain she had addressed 5,00,000 people in eleven centres. “ When I was in Manchester I met a woman of 89, reputed to be the oldr est Salvationist, who nursed me when I was nine months old. “ She told me I was a little kicking darling,” added General Evangleine, amid laughter.
