WEDDING

Williamson-Fahey. , On Saturday afternoon, at St Mary’s Church, Manchester Street, the marriage was solemnised of Patricia Marie, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs J. Fahey, Christchurch, and Eddie Ronald, youngest son of Mrs and the late Mr A. Williamson, of Christchurch. The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr J. P. Fahey, wore a trained gown of waffle crepe satin, its neckline draped and caught with two small diamente buckles. She wore a small turban hat and carried a sheaf of white flowers. The attendant was Miss Eva Barrett, the bride’s cousin, whose gown of blush-pink waffle crepe had elbow-length sleeves, and was worn with long pink lace and a small hat of the same material as her frock. She carried pink flowers. Mr Percy Wil.’.iamson was best man. The. bride’s mother wore an ensemble of navy sari crepe relieved with silver and blue, the coat being trimmed with scallops. Her hat was of navy straw, and her bouquet was of bright red carnations. The bridegroom’s mother wore a navy ensemble and a hat to match. Her bouquet was of red and cream flowers. When Mr and Mrs Williamson left for the north, the bride was wearing a smart brown suit and" a matching hat.
