Dear Sir.— Regarding New Zealand's bl laws, am I to take it that I can’t be ca victed for accepting money to put on t tete without any written matter, but hearing of the police?—l am, etc., WAGE The person accepting the money wou have to put it on the totalisator before offence could be proved.—Ed., “ Star.**
