Results:— MOOREFIELD GOLD CUP, of 400 sovs. One mile. Dromos, 7.10 (Knox) 1 Australia Fair, 8.7 (Munro) 2 Roman Spear. 8.9 (Zensky) 3 Fourteen started, including Kodapen and* Impasto. Won by a length and a half, half a head between second and third. MOOREFIELD HANDICAP, of 140 sovs. One mile and a quarter. Jutland, 6.7 (Murphy) 1 Mystic Spell, 7.5 (Britt) 2 Broccoli. 7.13 (Stephens) 3 Nine started. Won by half a neck, two lengths between second and third. Mystic Spell was placed first, but on a protest the race was awarded to the New Zealandbred Jutland. Time—2min 7Jsec. Lout? Applause was fourth in the Juvenile Handicap, and Antique was unplaced in the Flying Welter Handicap. ______________
