MARRIAGE OF M.P.
Presentations Made to Mr K. J. Holyoake. Per Press Association. NELSON, This Day. In view of the approaching marriage of Mr K. J. Holyoake, the Member for Motueka was entertained by the Motu-eka-Riwaka branch of the Farmers' Union and various branches of the Women’s Division. There was a very large attendance. In addition to being the chairman of the local branch, Mr Holyoake is also president of the provincial executive. Eulogistic references to Mr Holyoake’s services were expressed, and several presentations were made. Mr Holyoake’s marriage to Miss Norma Ingram, of Motueka, takes place this afternoon.
