OFF TO MOUNT COOK.
Party of Officers From H.M.A.S. Australia. Personally conducted by Mr D. Ardell, of the Internal Affairs Department, who has undertaken many similar tours, a party of ten officers from H.M.A.S. Australia left for the Hermitage, Mount Cook, by the 12.25 p.m. express to-day. They will return to the ship on Monday evening. On Tuesday next, seven other officers of the H.MA..S. Australia will visit the Hermitage, returning on Friday next. Those who accompanied Mr Ardell to-day were:—Engineer-Commander R. Berry-Smith, Lieutenant-Commander V. E. Kennedy, Lieutenant-Commander W. A. T. Moran, Lieutenant-Command-er L. E. Tozer, Engineer-Lieutenant J. W. N. Bull, Lieutenant E. E. Mayo, Sub-Lieutenant W. B. M. Marks, Midshipman L. M. Hinchcliffe, and Warrant Officers J. C. Elly and J. E. Pearce.
