SUMNER MAYORALTY.
Will Mr W. H. Ni holson Seek Re-election. It has been rumoured that the Mayor of Sumner. Mr W. H. Nicholson, will not stand for re-election this year; but Mr Nicholson, when approached this afternoon, said that he had not given the matter final consideration. He had made no announcement, and would not able to do 80 for at l east a Mr 11. W. Harris, the present deputyMayor, has been mentioned as a possible candidate for the Mayoralty.
