POLICE TRANSFERS.

Per Press Association. WELLINGTON. This Day. Inspector G. B. Edwards, of Auckland. arrives in Wellington in a few day’s to take over the position held by Inspector J. Lander, who is accompanying the Duke of Gloucester and will be stationed at Wanganui after the tour. Inspector Edwards was subinspector at Christchurch from 1932 till April last, when he went to Auckland. He was promoted inspector in i July.
