Indifferent Attitude of Relief Workers. Rapaki Hill relief workers who stood by and watched fire destroy part of the V ictona Park pine plantation vesterday afternoon were criticised to-day foi their indifferent attitude by Mr M. J Barnett, superintendent of parks and reserves. Mr Barnett declared that 20 of these relief workers saw the fire soon after it had broken out, and made no effort at all to check its spread.
