WIRELESS.
Notes and News From Far and Near. (By “AERIAL”) Now that there Is a promise of a reduced license fee for radio listeners, will there he any reduction in the number of radio pirates who are periodicallv “presented at court?” It is very unlikely. Human nature being; what it is, it is safe to say that there will always be those few who forget, either deliberately or accidentally, to pay their licenses. The numbers who forget make up the majority of those who face the magistrate. And they are not deliberate. forgetters. They always put off until to-morrow the little job that should he done to-day. In consequence they do not realise the passing of time and they are genuinely upset about receiving a summons. Many interesting situations arise. Rome take it philosophically; others are inclined to become a little terse over t.'he matter. The magistrates, who are invariably keen judges of human nature, seem to pick with uncanny skill those who are deliberate evaders. In consequence the fines always fill the bill. Those who ask for it get it.
