“A CUP OF KINDNESS.”

Tom Walls and Ralph Lynn in Clever Comedy. “Wake Up and Dream" will finish at the Tivoli Theatre to-night. “A Cnp of Kindness," an exceptionally clever comedy, will head the new programme at the Tivoli Theatre tomorrow. Featuring the talented comedians Tom Walls ana Ralph Lynn, the picture provides hilarious entertainment from beginning to end. The title was adapted from “ AuM Lang Syne." and it would seem that the plot was inspired by the not uncommon spectacle of people who either do not know one another or do not like one another linking hands and singing the old song with all appearance of sincerity. Tom \\alls ,s cast as Mr Tutt, who openly dislikes his neighbour. Mr Ramsbotham. played in convincing fashion bv Robertson Hare. Mr Tutt is intensely proud of his gentility, and considers the Kamshothams are common and far be- | low his social dignity. Mr Tutt. howj ever has two sons (Ralph Lynn and < laude Ilulbert) and one of them is in love with Ramsbotham s prettv daughter. This strong team of comedians has been provided with a story that lends itself so well to innumerable ludicrous situations* that the film cannot help but be amusement of the brightest pe Ihe dialogue was written bv Ben Travers, who has had wide experience in suiting the tastes of these well- ' known players, and the picture enranees his already excellent reputation. * j Box plans at the D.I.C.
