NOTIFIABLE DISEASES.
The following- cases of notifiable diseases were reported in Canterbury and the West Coast for the past week:— Canterbury: Scarlet fever 1, tuberculosis 2, hydatids 2, puerperal sepsis 1, food poisoning 30, vacillary dysentery 1: total 37. West Coast: Cerebro-spinal meningitis 3, tuberculosis 3; total 2. There was one death in Canterbury, from vacillary dysentery, and one on the Coast from tuberculosis.
