“Hello, Trouble!” and “ Paris Interlude.” ‘‘Hello, Trouble!” a thrilling Western, and ” Paris Interlude,” a bright comedy-drama, comprise the new double-feature programme at the Liberty Theatre to-day. The carefree atmosphere of Bohemian Paris is vividly captured in “ Paris Interlude,” and racy humour, piquant situations and dramatic interludes are deftly blended in the production. From beginning to end—there is an unusual twist in the denouement—the film grips the interest by virtue of its unusual plot and the accomplished acting of the principals. Although there are such experienced players in the cast as Madge Evans and Robert Young, acting honours definitely go to Otto Kruger, who appears as a famous foreign correspondent to a New York newspaper. What are a man’s reactions when he has to shoot a friend in the course of performing his dut>' —a friend who had once saved his life? This is the situation which confronts Buck Jones, playing the part of Jeff Douglas, a Texas ranger, in his latest Western, “ Hello, Trouble! ” Box plans at the D.I.C.
